See the Salvation of the Lord
Pastor Andrew walks through Exodus 14, emphasizing that God sometimes leads His people into situations where their own resources, wisdom, and strength are not enough so they can learn to depend fully on Him. Israel was trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army not because they disobeyed God, but because they followed where He led them. In their fear, they forgot God’s past faithfulness and longed for Egypt, but Moses called them to “fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord.” God then fought for His helpless people, making a way through the sea for Israel while bringing judgment on Egypt. We connect this deliverance to the greater salvation accomplished by Jesus, who passed through death and judgment to bring His people into resurrection life. The main call is to trust God in impossible circumstances, knowing that the Lord saves, fights for His people, and leads them all the way home.
