All the Bread We Need

In this powerful exploration of John 6:22-35, we're challenged to examine our motivations for following Christ. Are we seeking Him for what He can do for us, or for who He truly is? The passage reminds us that worldly fulfillment is temporary, like the manna in the wilderness that perished daily. Instead, Jesus presents Himself as the true 'Bread of Life' - an eternal source of spiritual nourishment that never spoils or runs out. This beautiful metaphor invites us to reflect on our own spiritual hunger and how we're trying to satisfy it. Are we filling ourselves with temporary pleasures, or are we feasting on the everlasting sustenance that only Christ can provide? As we approach Christmas, let's remember that Jesus' birth is the ultimate gift - God's provision of the Bread of Life to satisfy our deepest spiritual needs.
